Maumee Bay State Park has a little bit of everything! Golfing, swimming and sledding aren't the only things you can do. You can lounge around all you want at Maumee Bay State Park because it's one of Ohio State Park's great resort lodges.

State Park Lodging:

Cottages: Cottages are equipped with a gas fireplace, heating and air conditioning, fully equipped kitchen, living area, two bedrooms with a loft, or four bedrooms. Cottage guests may use all lodge facilities.
 

Lodge Rooms: 120  guestrooms all with private balcony/patio provide spectacular views of the surrounding park

Camping:  252 sites.  Has shower houses, flush toilets, electricity and playground equipment. Pet camping is also permitted.

Rent-A-Camp: 3 units consisting of a tent, dining fly, cooler, cook stove and other equipment can be rented during the summer months.

Rent-A-Yurts: offers a microwave, stove and refrigerator, along with futon beds.

Park Activities: 

Hiking: Mouse Trail- a 3-mile diverse trail winding through meadows and young woodlands. A 2-mile boardwalk traversing swamp and marsh wetlands has interpretive signs, an observation blind and tower, and wheelchair accessible loop.
 

Bike Trails: several miles of paved combination trails for bicycling and cross-country skiing.

Boating: 32-slip marina on Lake Erie has dockage available by reservation. A 57-acre inland lake in the park is suitable for sailing, canoeing and other non-motorized boat use. Canoes, paddle boats, row boats, and sailboats are available for rent.

Beach: 2 sand beaches. 1 beach is on the Lake Erie shore while the other lines the park's inland lake. A concession area and changing booths are provided.

Golf: 18-hole "Scottish Links" style golf course.

Coastal Clean-up and Campout on the Beach

Saturday, September 15th, 2007
Clean-up begins at 10:00 am, with lunch provided afterward. 
That evening, a primitive tent campout on the beach is great family fun,
with a pot-luck dinner, community campfire and storytelling.
Pre-registration is required for both events.
