South Bass Island is accessible by ferry from Port Clinton or Catawba Island. Best known for the huge Perry's Monument which provides an observation platform to look out over Lake Erie, this island is packed full of other family fun like miniature golf, fishing and cart rentals to see the sites.

State Park Lodging:

Camping: Put-in-Bay offers 125 non-electric sites, and 10 full service sites with electric, water and sewer hook-ups. There are flush toilets, showers, and a dump station. Pet camping is permitted on designated sites.

Cabents- combining features of a cabin and tent, are available through a lottery system for weekly rental from Memorial Day to the last weekend in September.

Rangers in War of 1812 uniforms will present interpretive talks followed by musket firing demonstrations on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays. June 22	14th annual tournament held at Saunders Resort. Sponsored by E-Z GO Golf Carts. Players use just a five-iron and a putter. $10,000 Hole-in-One prize. EZ-GO golf cart is a prize for a second Hole-in-one contest. July 4	Celebrate America! Whether you are on land or at anchor you will enjoy this spectacular fireworks display reflecting over the harbor of Put-in-Bay. Fireworks begin at dusk. July 9	The 24th Annual Island Home Tour organized by the Lake Erie Islands Historical Society. This year's tour is currently being organized. Contact 419-285-2804 about joining the museum so you'll receive early notification of the event.

July 11-12	Put-in-Bay's third annual "Soccer Challenge" will be held at McCann Field near downtown. This amateur adult soccer tournament is a 6 on 6 match with rosters limited to 10 players.
